This summer there were 3 inappropriate, dirty and damn right funny films, that all came out around the same time.
Number 2: Horrible Bosses

Nick Hendricks, Dale Arbus and Kurt Buckman (Bateman, Day & Sudeikis) are all stuck in dead end jobs, allot like the rest of America, and the world. The only difference is, their bosses are maniacal, sadistic and pure evil and will go out of their way to ruin each of the guys lives. Eventually the three men decide enough is enough, and in a slightly irrational move, they decide to kill each of their bosses. But of course this is a comedy and things aren't going to be as straight forward as they would hope.

Nick is the level headed almost sane one in the trio, and he is always searching for the right thing to do. Dale is newly engaged, and extremely happy in his life, but when the idea of murder comes up, he becomes the crazy paranoid one. Finally Kurt, he is the sex obsessed, womanizing character, and boy o boy does Sudeikis go for it. AL three actors to a superb job, but the highlight of the three has to be Day, I had never seen or heard of him before, but in this film he really shows he can be as funny as the best of them. Each line he says, and scene he is in, is hilarious, and it also brings an even funnier side out of the other already hilarious two, Bateman and Sudeikis. The trio have brilliant banter (I hate that word) and it is literally like they have been friends their whole lives, and that is what makes you feel so much for each of their characters, even Sudeikis'.

Now the bosses, first up Bobby Pellitt (Farrell) who is Kurt's boss, and is addicted to drugs and beds any woman he can get. His father used to own the company, and was the nicest boss around, then when he died Bobby took over and Kurt's life is now hell. Dave Harken (Spacey) is Nick's boss, and is the CEO of a mega corporation. Whilst Nick has been working his butt of for a promotion, Dave swoops in and take s it away, and then proceeds in making each day as miserable as possible for him. Both actors do brilliant jobs at creating these disgusting, perverse and insane characters, and Farrell in particular does a superb job with his role, comb over and pot belly included.

The highlight of all the whole movie, for me, has to be the character Dr Julia Harris D.D.S (Aniston). This is the first role I have seen her play that steps away from the typical girl next door romantic lead, and my god does she go for it. The filth she comes up with, and the disturbing things she does to her employee Dale is quite honestly, insane. It really is brilliant to see her do something else, and step away from her comfort zone and it absolutely pays off, as this is one of her funniest roles since Rachel Green. Like I have said before I just really wish she would step away from comedy completely, just to challenge herself, but until then we will always have this film. In order to commit the murder they turn to Dean "Motherf**ker" Jone (Foxx), a man they find in a diner and assume he is a hit man. Foxx is hilarious and fits perfectly with the rest of the cast and film.

The storyline isn't that original (hello 9 to 5), but it is hilarious and brilliantly made. Every inappropriate thing the bosses do get worse and worse, and the way the director has managed to get the actors do what they do is fantastic. Speaking of which, with such a star studded cast you expect good results, and with everyone being so outrageous you do really get a side splitting result. The jokes are rude, the humour is explicit and it is bound to offend someone, but then all good comedies/comedians do, so I'm all for it. It's out on DVD 21st November, and if you like a good laugh and some gross humour than this is certainly for you.
